The updated RGB-LED Lighting Platform surrounds the 2-Liter or 500-mL UTEX Photobioreactors. It is designed for bench-scale experimentation and maintenance of stock cultures used to seed larger photobioreactors. The red, blue, and green LED lights are customizable and testable for labs or classrooms wishing to optimize a light source for a particular species of interest.

Updated RGB-LED Light Platform Specifications:

  • 120 Total LED Lights: Five (5) rows of twenty four (24)
  • Fully adjustable red (626 nm), green (525 nm), and blue (470 nm) LED lights
  • 43,200 millicandela (MCD) output
  • 40,000 hour life expectancy
  • 120V input / 50-60 hz
  • Infrared (IR) remote control

ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:

The RGB-LED Lighting Platform was originally designed by GroFizz for 110V power. International customers will need to purchase the appropriate voltage converter for their country in order to use the RGB-LED Lighting Platform safely. Please ensure that the item you purchase is a voltage converter and not just a power adapter. A basic power adapter only allows the plug to fit a different type of wall socket, while a voltage converter will change the electrical current to 110V. You can use this link to perform a Google Search for voltage converters.

RGB-LED Lighting Platform: Refunds/Returns/Exchanges

Customers are responsible for paying shipping costs for all returns and exchanges. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Please refer to UTEX's Refunds & Returns Policy for additional information. After receiving approval from UTEX to return the RGB-LED Lighting Platform, UTEX will inspect and notify you that we have received the returned item. It is recommended that you insure the package and provide UTEX with a tracking number, if possible. We will notify you on the status of your refund after receiving and inspecting the item. If your return is approved and within 30 days from date of purchase, we will initiate a refund to the original payment method used. The time for a credit to appear on your account will vary depending on your card issuer's policies. Refunds do not include the original shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Since UTEX cannot process a refund to the original method of payment if 30 days or more have passed, UTEX store credit would be issued.

Warranty

This item is covered for one (1) year from the date purchased by a limited warranty. If the item fails to operate in accordance with this limited warranty, UTEX will, at its discretion, replace the unit or grant a credit for a future purchase. UTEX may also request that the item be returned for examination as per the refunds/returns/exchanges policy above. The limited warranty is subject to the following additional conditions: (1) The unit has been installed and operated in accordance with the operating instructions. (2) The item has not been subjected to accidents, neglect, abuse, misuse or acts of God. (3) The item has been purchased directly from UTEX. We will not honor the warranty if the item was purchased from any other store.
