Announcing the Jerry J. Brand Summer Research Fellowship for Algae Research

The UTEX Culture Collection of Algae (UTEX) now offers summer stipends for scholarly research projects conducted by rising University of Texas at Austin Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. Open to UT Students enrolled in any department. Original proposals for algae-based research in all disciplines of study will be considered.

• Support is given for full time appointments (35-40 hours per week) of eight (8) weeks with a stipend of $3,500.
• UTEX Faculty and Staff provide facilities, equipment, supplies, and supervision for fellowship researchers.
