Algal Resources Collection (ARC) | UTEX Culture Collection of Algae

 

The Algal Resources Collection (ARC) specializes in the maintenance and mass culturing of harmful algal bloom (HAB) species and other sensitive, slow-growing microalgae. The ARC maintains and distributes nearly 350 microalgal strains making it a valuable resource for both the HAB and biotechnology research communities. The Collection is hosted at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
